Participants at a DPUK Datathon event

Training the health data analysts of the future is a cornerstone of DPUK's work. From our flagship Datathon events to our new Spring and Autumn Academies, we are helping inspire a new generation of cohort analysts and equipping existing analysts with enhanced statistical skills.

DPUK Spring & Autumn Academies

DPUK has launched its all-new Spring Academy and Autumn Academy series of data analyst training events.

Aimed at those new to cohort data analysis, the Spring Academy is a week-long series of lectures, presentations and guided tutorials giving researchers an introduction to analysis techniques. Our expert line-up of presenters, lecturers and tutorial leaders explore topics including multi-modal analysis, mult-cohort projects, data standardisation, and linear models.

Visit the Spring Academy webpage for full information.

Aimed at more experienced data analysts, the Autumn Academy is a week-long series of expert lectures, presentations and group workshops giving researchers in-depth insight into cohort analysis techniques including linear/logistic regression, machine learning, survival analysis, and latent growth curve models.

Visit the Autumn Academy webpage for full information.

DPUK Datathons

DPUK Datathons are a key part of our data analyst training programme, placing researchers in multidisciplinary teams to generate valuable new findings in dementia research using cohorts in the DPUK Data Portal.
