Translation 2024
DPUK translational dementia research conference -Translation in a fast-changing world
TRANSLATION 2024 is a two-day conference from 18th to 19th April bringing together leading researchers to discuss the latest discoveries and innovations in dementia research. This year our theme is Translation in a fast-changing world. There are exciting developments in biomarkers, in trials delivery and big data – all of which can lead to new disease-modifying treatments for dementia. This year Translation 2024 will reflect the changing landscape of dementia research.
Following the success of our first conference in 2023, we will again be welcoming delegates from across the UK and internationally. 250 delegates, from academia, industry, the third sector and government will be gathering at The Congress Centre in London.
In addition to our main programme sessions, we are holding an Early Career Researcher morning which will focus on tips and other valuable information to help with their research.
At the heart of dementia research is a challenge: translating discoveries in the lab into experimental trials and onwards to therapies and new drugs quickly, at scale, using all available research channels.
The conference will be at The Congress Centre, Great Russell Street, London on 18-19 April 2024.
We will have lots more news to share about Translation 2024 in the coming weeks and months. Make sure you stay in touch with the programme as it develops by registering to be the 'first-to-know'.
