Cohort data in the Data Portal is structured and curated to common standards based on a bespoke ontology called C-Surv developed by DPUK scientists.

The Data Portal operates to the highest data protection standards: cohort participants and researchers can be reassured that data is managed securely and responsibly, maintaining privacy while maximising scientific value.

Although optimised for dementia research, the Data Portal's curation process and remote access model provide a generic solution that can be adapted to any outcome for which relevant data is available.
