Professor John Gallacher, Director of Dementias Platform UK, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pann-Ghill Suh, President of the Korea Brain Research Institute, marking what promises to be a valuable relationship in future dementia studies and research.

Founded 10 years ago, the KBRI in Daegu is the centre for Korea's research into all aspects of brain health. Its work in dementia and growth into big data and population studies makes it useful for the two organisations to cooperate and explore opportunities to work together.

The delegation visit coincided with a State visit to the UK by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.
