Fatemeh Koohi

Fatemeh is an epidemiologist with a keen interest in methodology and causal inference. She has been working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Stroke Research Group, Department of Clinical Neurosciences, University of Cambridge since November 2022. Her research focuses on analyzing epidemiological, clinical, and genetic data to investigate relationships between vascular risk, stroke, and dementia. Currently, she is working on a DPUK’s project that focuses on identifying therapeutic targets for reducing the risk of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (cSVD) and Lacunar Stroke.
