Virtual DPUK datathon

At the virtual DPUK datathon, researchers work online in multidisciplinary teams in the DPUK Data Portal. You will experiment with different methodologies to predict dementia risk and likelihood of conversion from mild cognitive impairment to dementia. Research questions will centre around longitudinal modelling of disease and cognitive change.

Healthy ageing conference

Healthy ageing is a two-day conference held by the Royal Society and the Academy of Medical Sciences' FORUM. The UK Government has set the Grand Challenge of achieving five extra years of healthy older age by 2035, but achieving this will be reliant on innovations in research and health and social care systems that benefit people of all ages and backgrounds. DPUK researcher, Ian Deary, is one of the organisers of this event.
