To launch the DPUK Imaging Network, and celebrate the contribution of Sir John Savill to dementia research during his tenure as Chief Executive at the Medical Research Council (MRC), the MRC is hosting an afternoon reception at Imperial College London on 15 March.

  • Join a tour of the newly completed Imperial-Invicro MRI-PET facility.
  • Learn how the Imaging Network will support a new generation of multicentre experimental medicine studies.
  • Hear from Marianne Talbot, a research participant who describes the devastating impact dementia that has had on her family in her widely regarded book, 'Keeping Mum'.
