The Alzheimer’s Research UK Conference is heading to Aberdeen in 2017, join them in the Granite City to hear the latest findings in dementia research at the UK’s largest dementia research conference. Also known as the Silver City with the Golden Sands due to its impressive granite buildings and long sandy beaches, Aberdeen is a must-visit city. And with an international airport and numerous daily flights from across the UK, it’s closer than you think.

The conference will take place 14-15 March 2017 at the Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre. With no parallel sessions, this is the perfect conference to gain insight from basic researchers and clinical colleagues. Last year nearly 500 delegates attended and, as in previous years, ARUK expects the conference to fill up fast, so book early to avoid disappointment. The conference will cover a wide range of topics including:

  • Birth cohorts & big data
  • Targeting tau
  • New technologies
  • Metabolic factors of dementia
  • Drug discovery
