The conference will see over 4000 people – researchers, industry and funders – come to London from across the world for the biggest event in dementia research. Delegates from organisations based both within and outside the UK will have the chance to meet DPUK scientists, to learn from those closest to DPUK what can be done with rich cohort data in the portal’s analysis area.
The DPUK data portal is a suite of tools developed for academic and industry researchers who specialise in varied areas of dementia science and the range of scientists who will be on hand at the DPUK stand reflects this. See the table below for details.

Although DPUK scientists have presented and exhibited posters at previous AAIC conferences, this is the first year that DPUK has a stand at the conference. DPUK Director, John Gallacher, is keen to give researchers around the world the opportunity to see the tools for themselves.
The portal and imaging platform are online and ready to use. We are now inviting researchers to apply for data access. John Gallacher, Director of DPUK
Alongside the scientists who can share advice on how to work with the tools, DPUK staff will be available to help researchers register on the portal, log in and familiarise themselves with the platforms and analysis area.
DPUK scientists will also be presenting at various sessions at AAIC. Keep an eye out on Twitter for updates during the conference week.
