DPUK datathon Ulster datathon support
DPUK is a partner in the DEMON Network – the national network for the application of data science and AI to dementia research. By connecting academics, clinicians and industry partners, DEMON aims to identify innovative analytic approaches in interdisciplinary research.
At the virtual DPUK datathon, attendees use their own standard laptops. You'll download a bespoke virtual desktop environment which is provided within the DPUK Data Portal. The virtual desktop houses a suite of statistical software packages available for you to choose from. The software available aims to suit all methodological backgrounds and provides the tools for the various research questions that will be explored.
The virtual DPUK datathon takes place on six days during a two week period. Attendees must be available to participate in every workshop session during the virtual DPUK datathon.
Attendees will be introduced to four cohort studies we'll be working with in the Data Portal at the virtual DPUK datathon.
