Podcast: Taking part in a DPUK datathon (YouTube thumbnail)

Donncha is based at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences and the Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Research Centre at the University of Edinburgh.

Donncha tells us about his datathon experience, and about his research group's project looking at the links between slow gait in midlife and cognitive impairment in later life.

DPUK datathons give early-career researchers the chance to work with real-world cohort data in the DPUK Data Portal. Participants work in multidisciplinary teams to address specific research questions in areas such as the early determinants of cognitive decline.
