Franklin Aigbirhio

Franklin has led the DPUK Imaging Network since 2019. As Director of PET Chemistry at the Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre, University of Cambridge. Franklin has:
- Been a co-leader in development of a first nationwide MR-PET network for brain imaging.
- Developed using imaging for early diagnosis and studying variants of dementia: Alzheimer’s, Lewy Bodies, progressive supranuclear palsy and frontotemporal dementias.
- Contributed to MR-PET harmonisation making scans across the network comparable, a vital need to use imaging to detect patterns and variations between dementias.
