Graham Reid
PhD Student
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and neuroscience and a master’s degree in psychological research, Graham is most interested in modifiable risk factors for cognitive impairment and cognitive decline. Building on his master’s work in which he looked at the association between arterial phenotypes, memory, and vascular brain health, he is now completing a PhD looking at the link between insulin resistance and dementia. To do this he uses multimodal neuroimaging techniques, alongside neuropsychological testing, to better understand how insulin resistance relates to brain health and psychological abilities.
