Prof Agneta Nordberg

Member, International Scientific Advisory Board

Agneta is Professor in Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet – a position she has held since 1992 – and Senior Consultant at Theme Aging, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm.

A pioneer in the field of cholinergic neurotransmission and nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, as well as the development of amyloid PET imaging, Agneta leads a research team with a major focus on developing early diagnostic biomarkers and new drug targets in Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative proteinopathies.

Agneta is a member of DPUK's International Scientific Advisory Board.
