A project led by researchers at Cardiff University is analysing data in the DPUK Data Portal to predict genetic risk of dementia, focusing on genes related to the brain's immune system.
Jodi Watt - Research Assistant
Jodi is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow. She works as part of a DPUK2 project that aims to identify possible targets for drug repurposing in dementia, using drug-wide association study methodology.
Jodi holds a PhD in Radiological Sciences from the University of Nottingham. Outside of her research work, she is very interested in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion issues in academia and practice.
